Working between California and the South Pacific, Nansi Bielanski Gallup creates paintings and sculptures informed by experiences both above and below the surface of the sea. Her work explores themes of memory, intimacy, transformation, and the shifting boundary between the observed world and the imagined one.
Selected exhibitions include the Carnegie Art Museum, the USC Fischer Museum of Art, ICoNic Museum of Art, and California Nature Art Museum.
